Call for papers

Caledonian Journal of Engineering (CJE) is published bi-annually (January-June and July-December) by Caledonian College of Engineering, Sultanate of Oman. The aim of the journal is to publish academically creative, innovative technical and research papers, and critical reviews on science and engineering. It publishes high quality peer reviewed paperspertaining to the fields of science and technology and is widely circulated to academics, scholars, students, professionals and field practitioners, and those seeking an update on current experience and future prospects in relation to any of the related areas.

CJE focuses on current research addressing engineering aspects, including technological developments, technology futures, national policies, standards, organization, infrastructure, sourcing, system development and implementation. The journal also seeks papers encompassing information science theory, policies and application or practice that will advance thinking in the scientific field of interest. It also publishes articles that advance our understanding and application of research approaches and methods.

Call for papers for Caledonian Journal of Engineering

The Caledonian Journal of Engineering invites original research and technical papers for its future issues in the following areas (but not limited to):            

Topic 1: Applied Mathematics
Topic 2: Built and Natural Environment
Topic 3: Computer Engineering
Topic 4: Chemical and Process Engineering
Topic 5: Electrical Power Engineering
Topic 6: Electronics and Communication Engineering
Topic 7: Mechanical and Industrial Engineering

Guidelines for paper submission

All papers must be the author’s original work. It is essential that each manuscript be accompanied by an abstract of maximum of 200 words. All authors’ contact addresses, emails, telephone numbers and fax numbers should be included in the paper. The title of the paper must be restricted to 50 words. Please refer to the template for other information regarding the submission of papers.

The Editorial Board has the right to accept or reject a paper, and / or to make necessary modifications. The board’s decision shall be held final.
